Kim, Connie Welch directed me/us to your video. Thank you for your sharing your (and your Mother's)story. I have HCV and am Genotype 2, and will be taking the 12 week course of Solvaldi/Ribavirin. Looking forward to getting rid if this virus! Are you also Genotype 2? So important the "word" gets out there about Hep C. I've carried it around for 30-35 years without a clue, until I started having symptoms. Thank the Lord I do not have to endure Interferon. So sorry you lost your dear Mother to this terrible virus. Keep staying healthy....your husband and children need you.

Hi Kim, Connie Welch directed me/us with HCV to your video. I too went undiagnosed for at least 30 years (I am 60). Must have one final test (colonoscopy, ugh) before insurance will authorize treatment. I will be taking 12 weeks of Solvaldi/Ribavirin, like you. I am Genotype 2, are you also? So grateful I do not have to suffer the awful interferon treatment. In a year or two, maybe everyone with Hep C can look forward to a cure in 8-12 weeks. Thank you for sharing your journey. So very sorry Hep C took your dear Mother.
