The food and drug administration does not get involved with treatment decisions - if you were denied, this is likely because of your insurance. I have been approved for harvoni which the doctors want me on for 24 weeks just now finishing my 3 bottle of 28 days i have geno type 1 and had cirrhosis of the liver now the food and drug administration keep denying it saying its to much drugs any help or advise to get the rest of the harvoni approved I WANT TO LIVE...

My first appointment with the Hepc nurse today six months after diagnosis. I am hopeful and apprehensive at the same time.I wonder if I will get the treatment which has been approved by NICE but held back by the NHS in England. I have started a petition on Change.org three weeks ago and have nearly 400 signatures. I have also had a reply from my MP which was not encouraging. A A
