Well I’m pleased with myself. I worked solidly all day and completed an application to fund my film. The process has been arduous and I’ve been working on it for a while. 5000 words mostly about how my film will engage the public with biomedical sciences. Now I’ve got that massive piece of work out of the way I can use it as a template for other applications.

I went for a walk down to Clapham Junction to clear my headache once I was finished. I came home with a worse headache and the realisation that I’ve put on loads of weight on this treatment. 3 kilos (about half a stone) actually! I get weighed in hospital. I tried on a dress in TK Max and looked like pasty whale.

By the way, my nurse confirmed that I can fly out to Ibiza on the 20May, so that’s a relief. What’s not a relief is that I’ve got no time before the auction to let the sun take the edge of my grey treatment pallor.

I put our trailer live on Vimeo today. Here it is below. Please let me know if you like it. I’m very grateful to director Fiona Procter who has got us this far in the project. Now everyone keep their fingers crossed that I get it funded.
