Sardinia.jpgI’m sticking to the number of days for this blog as officially the trial finishes in July 2014.

It’s been 2 weeks and 3 days since I stopped taking the drugs. I did see immediate results. The day after stopping I had a very long day. We went to the hospital in the morning, cleaned the house, went out to supper with friends in Whitechapel and then got to our hotel in Standsted for 11pm. A day like that would have been unthinkable for me even a few weeks ago.

Louie said that in Sardinia it was the first time he could remember me being present all the time. Normally I excuse myself regularly to lie down due to exhaustion. The most noticeable thing for me was that I didn’t feel ill all the time. For years now I’ve felt ill throughout every day, whatever I am doing. The heat helped me to cut out half of my daily dose of painkillers. Coming off the painkillers has left me with restless leg syndrome though. If any of you know of a cure for this please let me know.

I caught a bug on the plane home so I’ve been laid up for the last 5 days. During the last 5 days I’ve been either paranoid that the virus has come back or I’ve been wondering if I will always feel like this. However I’m better today and I can feel a new energy. I’m off to Ibiza next week to do a party at Ibiza Rocks House with Boy George. I’m really looking forward to it as I think I can rely upon my health this time.

The pic is a door in Sardinia...obvs!
