Today is my last day of treatment. Just for a treat I’ve got a washing machine stomach and headache. I think it’s a hangover from the run up to World Hepatitis Day. I edited five short videos of Trust Roadshow, you can see them here. I filmed and edited most of the weekend. My (very short) film of our Guinness world record attempt is here.

I’ve got my hospital appointment in the morning then Louie and I are off to join the rest of my family in Italy.

Although I’m tired from the last few days it’s nothing like the colossal fatigue I’d have had before. Now it’s tiredness without the inertia. Over the last few years I’ve never, ever gone to the office on a Friday. Since I’ve been on the real drugs I’ve frequently been in the office on Fridays. I even took a meeting late last Friday afternoon . I used to need a three day weekend to make it to the office for just two or three days a week. That has been my life for years now. I can’t tell you how exciting it is to be taking part in life and making plans.

I will check in with you guys when I get back from Italy in about 10 days and continue to blog about my recovery. I hope this has given some of you with hep C a bit of hope. Good times are ahead for us all.

The pic is a drawing by my niece 8 year old niece Rosie of me (she did it when she was 6yrs and 10 months). It’s a perfect likeness.
