Hi Matt, Sent for my papers to see if I can get Harvoni. Hope to receive them this week. I did not know you also needed to take ribavirin with it. Do you know what your virile load is now? Will it be coming down during your treatment? Do you have more info to share about steps leading to how you and your Dr. got to have the Harvoni? Any info will be a big help. I'm newbie on Facebook & not sure where your post are. Or have you not posted more yet? Do you know anyone else taking Harvoni? Good Luck with it. Hope its as easy as they claim. Lacy.

Thanks for your thoughtful and supportive response. It sounds like you are on the right track as well. You mention that you are going through the same thing. If you want to make contact to share the difficulties as well as the victories, and to help maintain the strength of a positive approach, contact me directly. Regardless, best of luck on your health journey Derek

What a great attitude to something many people find difficult to understand. Matt, your positive approach is a big inspiration to me (and I hope a lot of others) who still have to walk down the road you've just started. Stay focused, stay positive, and remember to breathe when you need to. Again, words, but coming from someone going through the same thing. All the very best. Keep us posted! d

Thank you, Grace, for your kind thoughts and support. What lies before me is the best chance yet to rid myself of hep c, and so many have endured so much more hardships than a few months of anemia. I am ready to move forward, with gratitude for this opportunity.
