Hi Kitty Kat, There's great caution in taking herbal supplements for patients with cirrhosis. There are special diet guidelines cirrhosis patients need to follow to help reduce high ammonia levels as well as medication recommended by your liver specialist. A proactive step would be to consult with a registered dietitian who is familiar with your condition. Ask your liver specialist for a recommendation regarding your condition.
