I agree with you about this being the most frustrating thing about the disease. it's like your mouth wants to go over faster than the speed limit but the fuel pump feeding your thought engine is not working.

A brain fog can have many different origins such as mental illness or other diseases such as lupus. SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus) can affect many organs in the body, including the brain, thus causing this cognitive dysfunction or brain fog.
