Hi Karen, No this is NOT in your head. Every Hep C patient's timeline is different with recovery from Hep C and treatment. For some it takes alittle longer than others, depending on what treatment meds you used, your liver condition and also consider other conditions not related to Hep C. Menopause even on it's own can make you feel fatigued as well as other symptoms, so be sure to talk to your doctor about how you are feeling. Also look at your diet and exercise and consider taking some good vitamins, especially B-12 that will help with energy. Also your thyroid may need to be tested, that has alot to do with your energy as well. Treatment can effect the thyroid, so check with your doctor. When I finished my treatment I had days of feeling very fatigued and menopausal as well (which I am), this is a time for the body to rebuild, regenerate and recover. I looked at recovery from the perspective that I needed to nourish my body with good food, work on a program to help rebuild my stamina and work slowly back into fitness, as well as keeping my focus strong on God and relying on His help to get me totally recovered. I have finished treatment 12 months ago. Advised virus free. But feel totally fatigue, overwhelmed and menopausal? Is this is my head?
