Hi Mara, I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. I personally did 3 Hep C treatments during my journey, my first two treatments failed, but my third treatment was the one that helped bring me the cure. Do not give up my friend. There are more treatment options becoming available including those for genotype 2. There is another treatment under FDA review that hopefully will be approved this summer. Feel free to ask questions. We're here for you. There is great hope my friend. Blessings, Connie

I've had hep c genotype 2 for at least 36 yrs. I didn't know until a couple years ago. I have a lot of cirrhosis symptoms and did the Sovaldi and Ribavarin. I failed because of the side effects weakness and exhaustion. Any ideas or am I doomed? My best friend died last year and I'm so scared.
