First i want to thank God for courageous people like you who actually are doing something to help others who are facing this Hep C dilemma. I just found out in late July while having my gall bladder removed that i had Hep C. Drs. believe i contracted it from a tattoo back in 82. Well i was a stage one then and after my visit with the specialist in Oct. i was told i was a stage 3. I started treatment Nov 3. I am keeping a positive attitude because i want to beat this. Time to fight back. Every time i take my meds i envision the virus taking a bigger hit than i am. Thank you for the available information i have received from your blog.
I am so sorry about your son. The best options in this case are either to look for a clinical trial (www.hcvadvocate.org/community/trials.asp) or have him apply for public assistance. Don't give up.
Yes I am behind you on this. My 28 yr old son has hep c for 3 yrs. we can't get anyone to help with the treatment he needs desperately. He is sick and we need help. No insurance and no money for it is costing my son his life. Can you please help us?

Your attitude is inspiring. If you feel like it, the hep C forum is a great place to give and get support. Keep it in mind if you ever have any questions or just hit a rough patch. There are some wise people who participate in the forum, some of whom have gone through treatment more than once. Let me know how you are doing.
