I'm suppose to have already started the viekira pk. I received it 2 weeks ago. I'm geno 1 with cirrhosis. So I'm suppose to do 24 weeks. I'm scared. After reading some comments, I'm more scared. I know I need it but I'm also diabetic and have to take prilosec....which I'm now taken off of. Please. ..some advice?
I have1b no cirrhosis it said that veierka pac was 100% cure that is a lie I am not cured I was for 11 months now I have it back with severe liver pain
I just started my viekira pak and ribavarin THIS morning! It took me almost 2 years of denials, appeals, grievances, patient support programs, nurse connectors, and endless doctor appointments, paperwork, phone calls, court dates (for appeals) and I was finally approved for vouchers thru the company!! I think its sad that in order for medicare to approve it, you have to be near death practically, but persistence paid off. Don't give up if you get denied. It takes a while but be patient!

Abbvie helped me with treatment of hep c, which I got from a blood transfusion in 1978. I did the viekira pac back in 2015/2016. Within 2 weeks of starting treatment my viral load was basically nonexistent. THANK YOU Abbvie!
