I just started taking the epclusa this morning at 8 am he did not take with food more or less ...he ate a little oatmeal and then has had no food the rest of the day I was very worried cuz he went a little mental with anxiety over the last day or so and he has been feeling ill most of the day and about half hour ago he mentally got better and was soaked and now he is calming down a bit...any suggestions to help him feel better?

You are almost done, and dose reduction shouldn't alter the outcome. This is very typical - use the same steadfast commitment that you apply to your skiing and that may help. This is your most important work and you are almost at the finish line.

I spoke too soon on the zero side effects. They kicked in a bit today. I would bet it's low hemoglobin. I am fatigued and slept most of the day. MY wife is an RN and she is a good advocate to have. They all ready backed me off one ribiviran and I am unsure how much of a buffer I have. I would refuse to start over But I don't think that would be my call to make.

Well said. A side note, Others told me that it would take awhile after treatment before I noticed improvements, and lo and behold, I am seeing them! Hoping this treatment works for you, and after some time, you notice as many improvements as I have. Congratulations on your stellar start.

To the person who said why bother? I would ask them if they had lost their mind. I am on the sovaldi ribavirin combo and after 1 month I am virus free. I have virtually no side effects. Or more correctly nothing beyond what I have know from managing my cirrhosis. I just wish I could go back to before I had permanent damage to my liver and get a do over.
