I disagree...alcoholics have a choice, just like any addiction, want to quit get help. Don't then face the consequences. Every alcoholic knows the risk...the risk they were willing to take. Why give a liver to someone who damaged their liver knowingly, when thousands die each year from Liver disease that was no fault of their own. It's not fair. Alcoholics shouldn't be eligible as quick as they are, if at all, rather make them be sober longer prior. Addiction is not a disease it's a choice, fact
