How many of us with chronic hep C who are living on SSD will be able to afford the new drug combo with a 97% cure rate? When a new drug comes out the price is like $60,000 for a treatment. United, Humana and other medicare advantage plans will probably not foot that bill. Is a cure only for the rich?

Already did interferon and ribovarin treatment in 2008. Only interested in 12 wk treatment with minimal side effects. The first treatment caused side effects that didn't go away. My hep C returned by my 6 month checkup.
