I have hepatitis C with cirrhosis, so my doctor prescribed Harvoni with ribavirin. I am irritable, itchy and can’t sleep. My doctor said that there aren’t any side effects with the new treatments. Could he be wrong?

If your doctor told you that get another doctor. Also report him or her to every medical board and anybody else you can file a complaint with.

I went through 2 trials...the first with ribavirin and i failed due to side effects becoming too bad. 2 years later i did 12 weeks of Harvoni on a test and i have been non detectable for over 4 years. Hang tough but talk to the dr. Dont be afraid to ask questions
