I went on same treatment for 12 weeks, hep c free!!!! Was a easy treatment, zero side effects.
The first words that come to mind are 'Bully for her'. I'm surprised celebrities don't all take the new drugs & get free of Hep C. I'm concerned about those of us who have the disease with no hope in anywhere of being able to afford the same treatment. My insurance company refuses to pay for the life-saving inhaler I need, much less other drugs I need. Heavens forbid I actually find someone who would write a Hep C drug script - there is no way the Medicaid in my State would pay for it.
I am very pleased to see people are getting approved. I never thought I would live 40 yrs, and survive the cure. I may still have a rotten liver when my treatment is over 20 weeks from now but after 4 weeks I can say to all there ain't no side effects. There is however a sh*^ty awareness that something is sneaking through your system. Forget about it!!! Its a $100,000 grand and that makes every grain of American soil worth fighting for. I doubt I would have got a shot in any other country,
