I saw a doctor for the second time on 1/31/2013 and he didn't run any blood tests like he did the first time. He just told me that I need a liver transplant. I have no insurance, am trying to get on Medicare or medicare, which ever I can. I am only 57 years old, so, I know only one is possible. I'd appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank You for reading this.

I'm sure my muscle mass is deteriorating very quickly. I have had Hep C since 1990, when I had an accident in STX US Virgin Islands. I was in a "Tent hospital" since Hurricane Andrew had blown away the regular one. I received some contaminated blood in that hospital, a couple of years before blood was tested for Hep C. My arms and legs are getting skinnier and skinnier. Other people even notice it. I'm afraid it will affect my heart muscle too. I am very worried, dying quickly.
