International NASH Day
June 12 is International NASH Day, a day of action to raise awareness about non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and Fatty Liver Disease.
This day will bring a coalition of patient advocacy groups together, providing education about this serious yet little-known disease. Dozens of activities will be organized globally with several partners!
International NASH Day, a public education campaign launched by The NASH Education Program in June 2018 to raise visibility and urgency around fatty liver disease and its more advanced form, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) which affect more than 115 million people around the world, will be led by a consortium of patient advocacy organizations medical and professional societies, spearheaded by the Global Liver Institute.
