Fifteen to twenty million people living with hepatitis B are also infected with the most severe form of viral hepatitis, hepatitis D. Join us as Dr. Robert Gish, Medical Director of the Hepatitis B Foundation, provides a historical and epidemiological overview of this complicated and largely unstudied virus. The webinar will focus on hepatitis D global and local epidemiology, as well as testing, management and treatment. We will discuss how we can work together to improve awareness and testing about this HBV co-infection, and discuss the Hepatitis B Foundation’s Hepatitis Delta Connect program.
