"some common NS3/4a inhibitors are Olysio/Simeprevir, Daclatasvir, Ledipasvir, etc..." Hi Rick, Just to be sure there's not a misunderstanding here, Dac and Led are not NS3/4a inhibitors. They are NS5a inhibitors. Sof is an NS5b inhibitor. There's also a new NS5b inhibitor which is through phase II testing.
Rick, Your writings help me so much. When I feel hopeless, you give me strength to hope. Just thank you so very much for your research, your ways of making it understandable, your perseverance. I love that you are my lifeline often and always. Thank you. from sally
This is actually very valuable information, I am sorry you had to be the "experiment" to find this all out. If this information becomes a protocol for doctors to pursue, and in diagnosing patients then more cures will occur. My attitude in my experence, is it will take a long, long time for Doctors to really grasp this. Took you five fails to find out. Now that they have his knowledge, will less fails occur with people in your same situation? I'm really not optomistic, but your enthusiasim about it is really an inspiration.
Oh Rick,I have been following your story. You are just the most incredibly upbeat person. I am on my 5th. and have 2 months to go. Not getting excited, been there done that ,I'll know 6 months post treatment, more patience, were good at that!!! They will find something for you, we have a group Hepatitis C friends and family in the U.K. it'd be lovely if you joined,I find them so supportive and as I've had it 50 years there is alot I can help people with and so much that I can learn from everyone,or on really bleak days there is always someone to make us laugh or vice versa. Wish you so much luck and joy hope to hear from you Vicki.Devon,U.K.x
