Hello friends!

This is my new blog site, but I will be posting a lot of video messages here. I’m starting this because there has been such interest in my health issues which started in 2009, and which have recently resulted in me receiving a life-saving liver transplant just a week ago (June 2, 2015). Although I will post some of the updates on Facebook, if you want to follow along, I suggest that you subscribe to this blog so you’ll be notified every time I post something new.

My philosophy is that I’ve gone through these things in order to help others through them. So, whether you’re a patient, a caregiver, a family member, a loved one, or simply want to learn more about the ins and outs of organ donation, liver disease (cirrhosis), and Hepatitis C, I invite you to join in. If you have questions, I’ll do my best to answer them, just drop me a note. If you want to invite others to join or refer others to this place, I’d be honored if you’d share this site with them.

I hope you’ll quickly learn that this is not a place for drama or anger, but a place of hope and information that’s filled with acceptance, love, and peace.

We each have our own journey, and mine will be different than yours, but there will be many similarities. I promise to treat you with respect and honesty. I hope you’ll return often.

Love,

Dan
