I contracted HepC at age 11 through an infected blood transfusion. I am now 60 and took the Harvoni cure last summer. Every site i read discusses liver failure/cancer. I want to talk to real HepC people. I have had agonizing joint/muscle pain for at least the past 10 years. Started 20 yrs ago. I am in constant chronic agony. No appetite. Forgetful.Depressed, My eyes hurt, all the time. Severe constant fatigue but can't sleep. Depressed, angry, frustrated, Too many for here. Am I alone? .

Hi Myratraney. For patients who have already developed these other conditions, symptoms often improve after successful HCV treatment. These improvements vary from person to person. Some may have complete resolution of their symptoms, while others notice minor changes. Regarding new development of these conditions, HCV treatment generally reduces the risk for these other diseases compared to HCV patients who are not treated.
