I have been having gall bladder attacks and severe pain in the abdominal area. I had a CT scan and the results were somewhat disturbing. There is a mass -- approximately .7 inches by .7 inches by .7 inches. Almost an inch big in an internal organ that is only 3 1/2 to 4 inches long.
So today I’m off to see a general surgeon. What next? Am I never to start the hepatitis C treatment I’m so eager to begin? On top of the gall bladder problem, I have high cholesterol and the doctor won’t do anything about that until my hep C treatment is completed, which first depends on my surgeon giving me the all-clear.
