I just received my first prescription for Harvoni from the specialty pharmacy today, and will start my first dose tonight! It has been a lot of red tape and hassle but I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel now. I have done so much research and heard nothing but good things. I have known about my condition about 10 years and never took any other kind of treatment. My doctor had said I would need 12 weeks but the specialty pharmacist said my viral load indicated 8. Either way, I am encouraged for the first time in a long time.
