I am not, i'm also no longer on Harvoni, it failed a lil over a month ago. Although my electrolyte levels are up and down so often i'm not sure i'd fair too well with protonix, but i'll check with my docs.
Sorry about your toe. Wish you a speedy recovery. Are you taking Protonix? I know you cannot take it with Harvoni.

My husband also has portal hypertension and varicose issues...He has been on antacids for forty years. He has tried every antacid OTC or Rx and they never worked properly... Fast forward 4/2014, after his hospitalization and blood transfusion, he was prescribed Protonix. The doctor did not clip his varicose. He install a shunt (TIPS). He has not had any stomach issue since. It was a miracle drug for him. He is on reduced dosage now. My thoughts and prayers are with you! Get well soon!
