In observance of Hepatitis Awareness Month, in May I am posting to this blog daily, suggesting ways to help raise awareness about issues surrounding hepatitis C.

We are not alone with hepatitis C. Many wonderful organizations promote hepatitis C awareness. Some hepatitis C organizations educate, some support, some advocate, some raise money for research. There are too many to list, but one that stands out is the National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable (NVHR). 

Here is its mission: The National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable is a broad coalition working to fight, and ultimately end, the hepatitis B and hepatitis C epidemics. We seek an aggressive response from policymakers, public health officials, medical and health care providers, the media, and the general public through our advocacy, education, and technical assistance.
