Thanks for seemingly hard to find answers! Recovering Hep C (30) yrs. patient, w/cirrossis. Testing w/ultrasound every 6 months, for cancer after Zepatier success. Wasn't sure if I should expect to still have cirrossis. I probably do, I guess. Thanks again

I originally infected via blood transfusion 1980 ,,,geno 1a. Cleared virus on clin trials only to have it roar back ...finally via one last trial a VA doc kept looking though biopsy until he found a hunk that qualified me as early cirrhosis (was that really true?) Finally opted out anyway did not want interferon based regime ever again. fat forward to 2014/15 and harvoni and actual cure!Post harvoni cure I lost over 50llbs in 3 months! Anyone else here experience? Ascites reversal?
