I have two days left until I have blood drawn that will mark my 12 week post treatment date. Two days left to do the test, then a week of waiting for the viral load results. This is it. The pointy end.

This is when I find out whether the year that has been devoted to pre-treatment checks, waiting, treatment, waiting, appointments, waiting, tests, waiting, scans, waiting, then more waiting has paid off.

I’m ready. All I have to do is finish reading 60 student reports, start on my annual report, organise staffing for 2016, pack my bags, remember my tickets to the theatre (King Lear! Woo! With Geoffrey Rush! Double woo!),catch a plane and get to the hospital.

Easy.

I’ll report back after the weekend. Wish me luck!
