I finished viekira pak this week and then developed a painful rash on my ears and neck. Told to go to ER by gastro doc and they prescribed Benadryl, prednisone, and Pepcid. It's only been 1.5 days but no relief. Any suggestions?

As I will be waiting to hear yours!
Hi Grace, You're exactly right--it's the planning things I need to do, rather than thinking of everything I don't want to do--that's the shift. I'm noticing a return of my stamina, too! And yes, it's a bit marvelous to be able to eat when I want to and not have that "Wait, did I take them?" moment every evening, which was the one that was hardest for me to get used to. Just a few more days to wait before I'll know, and I like to imagine that I'm cured and that I'll feel more like this, and less like I've felt since I can't remember when. Friends and family have been so supportive. I've heard from a handful of people today who are anxiously waiting with me, and while I want this to work for me, I also don't their encouragement and hopes to go unrequited. Little bits of knowing. If nothing else, we know we feel a bit better today. I'll be listening for your EOT's.
