My doctor was preparing to start treatment pending test results. I had been tested and confirmed having it a few years before. Never treated. When they called me about results. I was told tha my body had cured itself. And that it would show up in initial testing but would not register on further testing.

My husband had hep c 5 years ago. Took harvoni and was told he was cured. 4 -1/2 (we have moved different dr) years later blood work came back bad for liver. Has sonagram, liver scan and liver biopsy all good. Just went for 6 mos blood work and dr says he has hep c and has to go back to liver specialist .
