I am 82 I got my HEPC in the service from an Jet Injector over 50 years ago. I never knew I had it, I found out because I had an itch and then a red rash it would get bad at times. I went to an allergist because I had Bronchitist, and He felt that I had bad allergies and they were making it worst. I did not have allergies, but the blood test showed I had HEPC. I was lucky because the allergist sent me to the head hepatoligist who worked on the HEPC trials. I have Aetna I first was refused, I appealed myself, and was approved. I am going into my 9th week today. I do get some pains and aches like one gets when they have the flu, it comes and goes. Slight headaches that comes and goes. I do feel tired at times. But all in all, I'm not complaining I am going all the way.I had a 12,000.00m when I started, my first blood test det<12mi log value was now <1.08 So, Im doing very good. I wish you all the very best with your treatment, I also wish your insurance companies don't give you a hard time. Good Luck to all.
Thank you Daryl - your words are always much appreciated.

Beautifully said! I am taking Harvoni and I intend to spread all the knowledge I am acquiring throughout this journey. There are still a lot of people in the dark about what progress has been made.

Beautifully said. I'm so happy with my Harvoni treatment. If the Dr head waited 1 more week my insurance would have denied me. I received my pills Dec 23 but didn't start until Jan 5. Jan 1 insurance stopped accepting it. I'm grandfathered in so I believe to be truly blessed. Almost 4 weeks and # are dropping drastically. I hope everyone will get to hear your levels are undetectable. Everyone deserves their health.
