This is the best Christmas present for all Australians living with hepatitis C. It is a credit to the tireless efforts of you and everyone else that signed petitions, wrote letters, met with their MP, told their story and boldly went out there and let decision makes know what we expected of them. It is also a signal to other nations that limiting access to treatment is not on. Withholding treatment from people with a history of substance use is not on and denying treatment to people in prison is just ridiculous. The history of the hepatitis C in Australia changes today.
