Why does Gilead Support path not offer tiered support? United Healthcare is refusing to pay for my treatment and I am slightly over the financial limit for the Gilead patient assistance program. I wasn't expecting to receive 100% assistance but was hoping they would offer something. I applied to Gilead for an exception but was still denied. I asked about any assistance whatsoever to help cover the cost but was told they only have the one assistance program which I am not eligible for. I am now forced to drain my retirement savings in order to purchase the medication for treatment.
