Nano, Ammonia levels are a big deal. If they are high it indicates a bad problem that needs immediate attention. It's important to see a liver specialist like a hepatologist or gastroenterologist. But every physician should pay attention to high ammonia levels, if they don't, you have the right as a patient to seek another physician. Keep us posted on how you're doing. We're here for you.

One doctor tells us that ammonia build up is extremely important in a patient's life but another doctor tells us they don't even monitor the ammonia levels why is there such a big difference in opinions?
