Liver Life Walk, Houston, Texas, April 27, 2013

I proudly walked as a Hep C Warrior and Survivor in the American Liver Foundation Liver Life Walk Houston, Texas April 27, 2013. We were thrilled to participate and walk for the cause of ending liver disease. For me personally this was the pinnacle of my long journey with Hep C and starting a new life without Hep C living with me.

Receiving my 6th month post triple therapy blood report of continuing to be Non-Detected with the virus is a huge blessing. But I won’t be satisfied with this goal until every Hep C Warrior is cleared of this virus. We stand together, to fight this giant and live life beyond hepatitis C.

We met some amazing people from all across the country and state, with one goal in mind, to end liver disease. Here are a few highlights from the event...

One year ago, I was in my 19th day of beginning triple therapy. I couldn’t hardly walk from one room to the next, and today I celebrated winning the victory over the Hep C giant by walking the ALF Liver Life Walk 5 k.

There is life beyond hepatitis C, Praise God!
