Is it normal for me to have to keep going to follow ups with my Gastroenterologist before getting medication prescribed? I went to my first appointment but they want me to go get an ultrasound of the liver, and that appointment doesn’t have any openings until another month, than I’ll come back to the Gastro after results come in? Should I have gotten multiple referrals for tests so that on my next Gastro visit I can start medication treatment for Hep C?
