My husband William was prescribed Harvoni when he was diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver. I a really not sure where you all are getting this cost per treatment. The cost every 28 days is $66,000 for my husband. He is supposed to take this medication for 24 weeks. Thank goodness for an insurance company that will pay for the medication. I don’t think we will need it this long.

I'm in desperate need of direction pertaining to this exact article. I have Hepatitis C, and live in Illinois. I have been denied 3 times now for treatment by Illinois medicaid. Can someone please tell me how I can get the treatment that I need to cure this disease. I was born with this, and just lost my mother in October, and my dad is now dying as well from this disease.
