What a great article! My son was born in 1980, in 1981 I was told there was something in the product but his doctor said since we live in lil Idaho it wouldn't reach us here. My son only used factor VIII. Wow how wrong was he. My son was first diagnosed with non A non B Hep. Which later turned out C. That was in 1985. My son was diagnosed with HIV in 1989. We were able to trace the blood back to 1982. The blood his treatment center saved for years and the help logs we kept came in handy!
