I was diagnosed in 2014 by my ID physician, who referred me to a hepatologist for further assessment and treatment. After completing my pre-treatment evaluation, however, this doctor's practice stopped communicating with me. I believe this was because the office manager decided it was not worth their time to undertake the work required by my insurer to pre-authorize treatment. I returned to my ID specialist, also experienced in treating HCV, for (successful) treatment and remain in SVR today.
Explaining to you how much and why I love you, would be like me describing how water tastes. It's impossible.
Great article, Thank you for posting it. It contained a lot of interesting information. 5 Stars. By Gregg L. Friedman MD
