‘Bleak’ is proper to describe the treatment access outlook still today. I’m not on Medicare but my insurer’s pharmacy provider (United Healthcare/PRoCare RX) has denied me treatment with Harvoni because of fibroid score. I was able to obtain the generic from India at a fraction of the USA price and it’s working. Shame on our healthcare system and pharma companies!
