I had met Martin and was involved in activism with him.... from opposite sides of the country. Project Inform was vital for years but we are winning this battle and the need has waned. I see this as a good thing. It was always the goal....to close shop because the need was fulfilled. We should be proud of what we've done....we are beating a monster that killed millions. We are witnessing the beginning of the end. The battlefield has changed, we must change with it.

I’m very sad to read of the demise of Project Inform. When I was diagnosed in 1996 I scoured the internet for quality information. This was a time when in New Zealand we were fighting to get access to protease inhibitors. Project Inform quickly became my go to place for information about emerging treatments. It empowered me to have informed conversations with my treatment providers of the day. Those Californian pioneers need to know their work touched lives across the globe
