It is so sad,frustrating, unfair, and unethical that those young people who are diagnosed with HEP C, find it very difficult to obtain insurance coverage for Harvoni. My son has been clean of all illegal substances for over a year. His doctor promised to finally write the prescription for Harvoni, now HAP HMO has denied coverage because his liver damage has not progressed enough. That sunny, hopeful, wonderful ad for Harvoni shows only baby boomers receiving the magical cure.
