Most baby boomers who are heavy drinkers with Hep C were most likely intravenous drug users back in the sixties. With age the drug of choice became alcohol. Your every day drinker probable wasn't a heavy Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roller and dodged the hep C bullet. I feel getting information to the recovering addict/alcoholic to get tested will save many from this silent killer
