Diagnosed with Hep C in 1994

I received a blood transfusion in 1982. I found out I had hepatitis C antibodies in 1994, but was not told that I had the disease until 2002. Fast-forward to 2014, when a CT scan revealed that my liver was extremely damaged and that I had cirrhosis. It was not pretty.  I was so anemic from esophageal varices that I could barely walk. I saw a GI specialist and eventually went on 12 weeks of Harvoni, but it didn’t work. I don’t know what lies ahead for me.
