I am living proof that this treatment your are "testing" is not only outdated but barbaric. This should be removed from the Clinical Trails web site.

I have taken Hep C treatment 5 times. The first 4 treatments included interferon, and thanks to those treatments, I have survived long enough to finally get rid of the virus. Having said that, I have also suffered damage to my eyes that I blame on the interferon. There are better treatments now. The interferon should, in my opinion, be reserved for use only in patients who have not responded to the 2nd generation DAAs.
