I was 68 years old when I was on the Harvoni last year. I had to have a 12 week treatment plan due to my genotype and cirrhosis with ribavirin added to the treatment. The only side effect besides slightly more tired than normal was a low blood oxygen count. I was still able to walk 2 - 4 miles 5 days a week, but running didn't work do to not enough oxygen getting to my muscles. Six month post treatment and still no virus detected.

I just started this today. I am feeling pretty good so far,,,,, just a little feeling of an allergy infection,,, like the flu coming on very slowly. I have Hep-C for about 22-23 years. I took the riboviron and interferon shots and that almost killed me. I have Geno type 1A and,,, I'm so stupid for the reason why I even caught Hep-C. My Dr had told me I could never have kids,,, well I was on a death run. I didn't care anymore about myself. I wanted to die. I have 2 Sons. Stupid Dr. Stupid me.
