I think highway robbery is here. Why can treatment in India cost 900.00?
I will be starting the harvoni treatment as soon as my Ins approves it. The cost will definitely make the maters difficult. My HEP C has come back and if I don not get the treatment I may have 2 yrs left before my liver gives out. If the cost is the thing that keeps me from getting the treatment, then that cost will be my death sentence.
I think Gilead Sciences is doing a fantastic job helping people to receive HARVONI and Sovaldi. The company deserves to profit. I am grateful they are helping me with my copay and getting the drug if my insurance carrier denies me. What we hep c'ers need to do is establish some buyers clubs and buy in bulk. We want companies like Gilead to discover cures that save our life's and improve our quality of life. I am so glad my doctor is prescribing me HARVONI, that I will work extra to pay for it.

These prices are rediculous. The concern with the hep C virus obviously isn't with curing people and containing the spread, it's all about how much money the Pharmaceutical company's will profit.Everything is always about the money and not the people. How in humane.
