I was diagnosed with NAFLD based on a liver biopsy due to elevated bloods in 1997. I have had normal bloods for about 12 years now which I contribute to eating healthy like a plant based diet. I also have type II diabetes and abnormal gall bladder function. I think all 3 are tied together somehow cause I am and always was skinny

I’m 56 years old. Insulin resistant type two diabetes on oral meds and Victoza. I lost weight and muscle mass, thought the weight loss was from the Victoza. I have nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and Cirrhosis. All my symptoms finally made sense to me and my family. I’m having my first colonoscopy and endoscopy with my new doctor tomorrow. I’m a stage A on the Child-Pugh scale. Wish me luck.
