I too was extremely tired a year after being cured and 2 years after being cured. I am going on my 4th year of being cured and I am starting to feel really good. Having hep c is different for every body. You just cannot give a blanket statement like that to someone who has had hep c. We all heal differently and at different times. I am on disability and I cannot return to a full time job. I work pt. I have a few cognitive deficits. I have to watch my stress level the most.
I WAS TREAATED IN JAN 2012 AND DID 24 WEEKS PEGYS AND RIBAPAK I CLEARED AT THE END OF 4 WEEKS MY FIRST CHECK UP WAS UN DETECTED. I WNET BACK AT END OF 6MONTHS AFTER TREATMENT STILL UND AND 1 YEAR LATTER UND DOES THIS MEAN I AM CURED

In August I had my 1st year anniversary of being cured. I also have suffered with much fatigue. It seems to be getting some better. Recently, I began taking an antidepressant due to effects from disease and treatment and the stress level thereof. My body & mind were pretty beat up and had been for many years. The antidepressant has been of benefit. I had been resistant to take this but glad I did. I think my expectations were too high following 24 weeks of dual therapy. Hang in there!
